Let me ask you something Was Bush ( a right winger) so great? It took him so long to get down to Louisiana for the Hurricane issue. Ok we are talking about capitalism. Wow Lets defend it. How about Enron, what corporate America did to our jobs by outsourcing, the mortgage crises (no regulation) and now BP. It's not so much that Capitalism is bad but it's the people that involved. I am all for free enterprise, and I'm all for making money, but at the same time I'm not for ruining other people's lives like Monsanto is doing everyday to make a buck. I'm sorry if the right wing conservative party can't be adult enough to handle Capitalism then yes regulation must be in place. It has come to mind that we have a bunch of immature babies that only think for themselves and not anyone else. If I want to eat naturally grown corn I have to pay 3x the price. Why because of some stupid company called Monsanto who make Genetically Modified Food that paid off the government to approve of this. Is this Obama’s Fault? No this started in the 80's. But this is capitalism. And yes I blame the government to because they accept this money also. This happens on both democrat and republican side. It's the narcissistic human mind that is really messing up this country. BABIES ARE EATING THIS GARBAGE YOU F---- all for what? Money. So as far as regulation I am all for it providing that the regulation is for the health for the people and planet. As far as taxes is concerned let’s tax enough for what we truly need such as education, enough defense and yes even a small socialism system to aid our “truly” disabled and senior citizens. This does not mean over tax. We should also stop giving tax breaks to corporations who hurt our economy by going off shore or taking short cuts. If the cost of living is too high in america let's tackle that instead of abandoning ship and wreck our country. Let's get into this debate for socialism not everyone can work. What about the mentally retarded, Do you think Burger king is going to pay someone with an IQ of 50 enough money to live and support themselves. What about people who fought for our country and lost parts of their body. Again there has to be regulation on this. There are people out there for sure who take advantage of the system. We all blame them but the people to really blame is the government. The reason being is you allow it. The basic human instinct is consumption. We want it all This can be proven on the poor side of things by getting assistance and working off the books or having 10 kids. On the other side we have our corporate CEO”s who are killing America. AGAIN LET’S HAVE RULES IN HOW WE ARE GOING TO HELP OTHERS WHO TRULY NEED IT. IT’S NOT THE FAULT OF SOME UNEDUCATED FAMILY HAVING 10 KIDS WHO GET’S SUPPORTED. IT’S OUR GOVERNMENT FAULT WE ALLOWED IT. Then there is another avenue to this for people trying to get back to work. I know someone who really wants to work who has epilepsy and had a lobotomy. His pills would cost 1000.00 a month. (THANKS TO THE CAPITALISIC PHARMACUTIL COMPANIES.) If he has more than 2000 in the bank he does not get covered anymore. Who is going to provide these pills throughout the probation period of his new job? No one because the government cut him off. and he needs his starting wage for food, rent clothing heat. After 3-6 months and after numinous seizer attacks will the Capitalist insurance companies with little regulation let him have the pills with a pre existing condition? Or will the pills not be on a preferred drug list where it will still cost. So my friend is forced not to work to save his life. So all you little scum belly aching right wingers better start growing up. You tea baggers while don't you boil yourselves a big tub of water for your tea and jump in it. Our hybrid system of Socialism/Capitalism is. I can tell by your rhetoric where you stand. But you like so many are the ones being duped. To assume that one would have to be rich to belive in the standards of the Tea Party speaks volumes of your lack of education. I am not rich, as a matter of fact I am unemployed. I am also anti-union. Socialism breeds discontent in the human soul. Always complaining and never being filled. Always with jelous hatred of your fellow man. This is why in every country it has never fulfilled it's utopian promises. American capitalism in the beginnig was a honorable system. If a man worked hard he was rewarded in turn. He could if he tried raise his standard of living. Then came the lazy socialist who being of lesser character chose to covet his neighbors goods, but was not willing to work for them. When our Government began experimenting with social programs it sent a message to all. You do not have to work to get what you want, we will provide by stealing from your neighbors through theft by taxation. as more and more people bought into this corruption those that were still working hard became infected with another malady of socialism.We began to wonder why we were working to provide for those who would not work.
