This is a great way to describe what is wrong with institutions in America and the basic problem with capitalism.
Capitalism cannot be fair — it will eventually wreck everything it touches. Greed wins every time which is why so many people think capitalism works. Because people are motivated by greed. The problem is there is never enough greed to go around. Greed gets concentrated over time as institutions are bought and politicians are corrupted. The market can do nothing to keep it balanced and America’s entire history has been a testimony and proof of this fact.
Severely limited, capitalism can provide certain motivations — people are motivated when they are hungry. But this rather severe motivation is limited when the system is stacked against ordinary people. This is why there needs to be limits to wealth in America. 99% taxation above 1 million per year. It is no problem with some people have more than others. The problem comes when the poor are increasing so that a very few can have more and more. This is the natural consequence of unregulated capitalism. This is why unregulated capitalism always fails … always.
Regulated capitalism is called socialism. This is an economic system where minimums are guaranteed by restricting maximums. Capitalism only worries about maximums and is never concerned about minimums.
America is Doomed.
Class Warfare is alive and getting worse and rich people are winning — it isn’t even close. The score is a million billion for the rich and zero for the poor. There is little chance that the poor team will rally to win this game.
Most people in the non-rich class are playing for the wrong team — they mistakenly think the rich team will let them keep their job, their family, healthcare, and their life. They are wrong and are not likely to discovered it until they are too old or too weak to do anything about it. A new crop of naive poor people will grow up to pretend they are on the rich team.
President Obama plays for the rich team, and even the black team recognizes this. Nearly every member of Congress is playing for the rich team. Wall St doesn’t even understand there is a non-rich team.
There use to be a middle team who hoped to be invited to play on the rich team. Most of them have been traded to the poor team but they keep watching Fox News hoping that their team will come back to life.
There are few national leaders who advocate for the non-rich team. It doesn’t make any sense to them because in America money is the only god even though many proclaim their is another one.
Eventually the poor team gets so big that they roll over the rich team but this can take considerable time. ”Hope is eternal” and the loss of hope takes just about as long. But once it is lost, it joins forces with others and they will one day become a force.

Gallup reported more dismal approval numbers for Obama. How the once mighty has fallen. But this is Obama own fault but I suspect he will blame others.
Today, Obama is voicing displeasure with the debt negotiations but this is the same bozo who was trying to sell out the people who voted for him, every day during the negotiations. He called it compromise when Republicans never compromised on anything. Republicans said they got 98% of what they wanted which is not compromise in anybody’s universe, except for bozo Obama.
Obama has sealed his fate as Jimmy Carter II. I still remember when Carter conceded to Reagan and Carter was so surprised how Reagan stomped him in the election. This will happen to Obama as well. But I am looking forward to that speech, so we don’t have to hear from him again. But, just like Carter, Obama will usher in another Republican disaster. Thanks a lot guys for being so incompetent that America gets to suffer under bat shit Republicans.
Obama is already a lame duck — he is just taking up space now and there is little point with him continuing, other than to feed his ego. But just how much could his ego benefit as his poll numbers plummet day after day. It would be redeeming if he announced that he will not accept the nomination; perhaps, we could get Hillary or Nancy — we need somebody with some balls.
Even the black caucus has told Obama enough already. He ignores them because gentleman Obama rarely does anything that the Republicans would criticize, except in campaign mode. So, when he starts criticizing Republicans in campaign mode, one wonders how many people are listening. He has been one non-stop piece of disappointment.
Obama has already failed dismally and yet his failure will continue until Jan, 2013 when he is out of office, and further continue for the next four years when some bozo Republican is President. Yes, Obama is to blame for those next four years as well. Too bad he doesn’t even have enough integrity to resign and let the Democrats choose a new person to go up against the bat shit Republican. No … not Obama … he contends he is the right person for the job. What a disaster he has been.
Today, I got a letter from the Democrats telling me if was my last chance to renew my membership — what a waste of time sending it to me. I watch local Democrats try and maintain composure in the face of the disaster which is Obama. How most Democrats feel about Obama is not going to come out until 2013.
Obama said that America is good it is just our politics which are screwed up. Alert. Alert. America can’t be doing good if our politics are screwed up because our politics are fucking up the entire place. And our politics are hardly the only thing wrong with America.

I have a number of problems with Paul because he has no answer for the poor and disenfranchised. He is the most conservative person in Congress for decades. He believes in capitalism and free markets, and readers know that Karl Marx was right when it said capitalism will always self-destruct. Paul is opposed to the Civil Rights act of 1964.
He prefers not to state his religious beliefs in public (that’s great) but has stated that Jesus is his personal savior (that’s stupid). But, like all the wacko christians, he never can defend his position against the bible that he professes to believe. I would respect the guy way more if he just rejected the god bullshit.
I do like the fact he wants to get out of the foreign wars and stop being the policemen of the world. He doesn’t go on junkets, does not request earmarks, and isn’t a gigantic hypocrite. Dump the Federal Reserve, yes — but Paul wants to dump everything. Wall Street is scared to death of him which is wonderful.
Paul’s view of the world is naive and simplistic.
Yet, Ron Paul has more integrity than any other national candidate and integrity means something to me. At least people would know exactly what this guy believes — something not possible with any other candidate. Obviously, Obama is the poster boy for betraying the people who voted for him. I doubt if that would ever be said of Paul.
If somebody like Paul was elected, it would return the US to the days of the Wild West — everybody for themselves. There would be no Social Security, Medicare, or many other things. There would be no Dept of Education, FDA, or EPA.
If he stayed true to his policies, Republicans would hate him because Republicans don’t really want limited government or even true competition — they love privileging only the rich.
Yet, Paul is exactly what the majority of America appear to want.
If so, let it happen because I am tired of trying to explain how but shit nuts it would be.

When the history of America’s demise is written, there will be chapters about Rupert Murdoch and Fox News.
The evil of Murdoch and Fox News are near the center of what is wrong with American politics. It is interesting to watch the UK scandal at News of the World continue to unfold. It will likely take out Prime Minister Cameron before it is over, with the revelation that the phone hacking scandal was widely known, even outside of the News of the World. Of course, Murdoch and his son deny knowing anything about it but can any rational person really believe that? The only question that remains is whether the UK will see this through or it will be covered up.
Murdoch’s business is influence and Fox News is very influential in the US. They routinely have the programs with the highest viewership. It is non-stop Republican politics with no regard at all for the truth. They lie constantly and this has been documented by films and web sites devoted to their lies. They even won a landmark Supreme Court case where they contended that there was no requirement for them to tell the truth and even out and out lies were lawful. That is the day that journalism died in America.
There use to be standards of journalism and television and radio received licenses to broadcast based on doing good. Reagan threw all of these standards away which ushered in the likes of Limbaugh and the non-stop hate talk radio. It is remarkable just how much horrible crap started with Ronald Reagan in the 1980s. Of course, by today’s standard Reagan would not be a Republican because Republicans are bat shit crazy now.
There are studies that anybody who listens to Fox News regularly believes all sorts of things where are not true. And, yes, these bozos go off to vote for the craziest bat shit Republicans on the planet. This all contributes to the dysfunctional politics and Congress in America.
