Ron Paul For President

On November 25, 2011, in doomed, by admin

I am fed up with President Obama.  I voted for this guy and he has been a great disappointment.  He continues to betray the people who voted for him and I look forward to his concession speech.  I suspect it will be the only speech of his I will ever listen to.

This leaves me with a problem — who will I vote for?

If voting was today, I would vote for Ron Paul.  First, I think his ideas of libertarianism are nuts.  However, he firmly believes in it and has the track record of a true libertarian.  Mostly, Ron Paul has integrity.  Plus, corporate Republicans hate Ron Paul and are more afraid of him being elected than anybody else.  This is why he gets my vote.

The next years are going to be a disaster.  Obama brings a certain disaster to the table … he is a Republican pretending to be a Democrat.  This actually sets back progressive ideas because even if Obama is re-elected, most Americans will blame the Democrats. Most Americans are just plain stupid — many even think that they shouldn’t even think about politics.  Well, politics is wrecking America and they better start paying attention. These Americans, for example, cannot see that Obama is a long way from being a Democrat and wouldn’t recognize a progressive idea if it bit him in the butt.

So, let’s take our medicine and pull the bandage off quickly by electing Ron Paul.  There is nobody any more conservative than him.  Yet, he will end wars and corporate giveaways, assuming he does what he says.  This libertarian idea has to be discredited and Ron Paul is the perfect person to do it.  After Paul, maybe just maybe, America will be ready for a true progressive — Democratic Socialism.  It is the only solution.  Sadly …

America is Doomed.

Admin , I have to agree with you on this one..

Well, I didn’t vote for this current president because something seemed involved beyond what most were seeing — but, I didn’t like the option either. Both parties are supporting globalism – and whether it was something that was simply going to happen once capitalism reached a certain and extreme level – or if the trade agreements and subsidies caused the problem – either way, once manufacturing companies were leaving like a mass exodus….the writing was on the wall. Right now, it seems to me that we have Socialism/Communism on the left – and Corporate Fascism on the right….and people continue to believe that by voting for or against the shallow trigger issues like abortion, gay rights, or whatever – will somehow redirect the way our Country is being led. I’m not fond of Ron Paul because I don’t agree with the Libertarian philsophy in a lot of important ways either. I’d rather see a strong Constitutionalist be elected and return the power to the States where it belongs. The trade agreements aren’t constitutional – and the fact is that globalization will lead to worldwide socialism – and right into the one world government dictatorship….which is why we’re seeing this struggle in many countries besides our own. In spite of Socialism’s failure through history, our leaders continue to embed the US more deeply – and in ways that are now removing our sovereignty and more International Law is being applied. It can become very clear what is taking place — guess my only question is whether it could’ve been prevented – or is it as some say, based on Prophecy.

I agree Paul. What choices do we have ? There are no Jeffersonians, nor any Jacksonians ideas running. One can dream though. Obama believes more NAFTA’s and CAFTA’s will bail out the mess the USA is in. Not a chance. It will just light speed capitalistic ideas and make the rich richer. I don’t agree with alot of Ron Pauls ideas either but……..What will result in this engineered decline of america is; A natural progression from NAFTA, to the FTAA, to a Western Hemisphere without borders. A similar merger of nations is already well on its way in Europe..
Starting in 1951 with the European Coal and Steel Community, Europeans have been sold a series of so-called trade pacts which have eroded national borders. Europe has a single currency, a European Parliament, and i believe are negotiating a European constitution.
Is it just me or can anybody else see the traits going on here ?

Yeah and anybody with there right mind doesn’t have the funds to run. Money is corrupt. America is doomed because of greed. We aren’t people anymore, we are consumers. It’s just really sad. Loosing faith in humanity. Wish everyone could be atleast environmentally focused and maybe we could create accountability that way. But all anyone cares about now is when the next iPhone comes out. Most Americans aren’t even concious enough to have an opinion. Oh and lets not forget the world is coming to an end so why even do anything anyway???

  5. Ed "Meal-A-Deal" Johnson says:

Wow, you are all a bunch of morons. You’d rather see someone return power to the states than Ron Paul? That is his whole damn platform idiot. And btw, idiots – the President isn’t a dictator. We have three branches of government w/ checks and balances on each. I love how IDIOTS like you all think one man is somehow able to change the country. You are all simple minded, cable-news fed idiots. And THAT is why America is doomed.

What you forget to mention is how Obama brainwashed you idiots into voting for him in the first place. Unfortunately, McCain wasn’t that much better of a choice, but Obabma really wasnt going to do anything anyway. Admin, you’re calling him a republican in disguise, that’s not true. He just has no power to shift the republican government that we have. A Democratic Socialism would destroy America and would be the reason that America would be doomed, because of people like you who think that if the government pays for everything and takes care of your every need, that we would prosper. We need competition, or else there would be no motovation. Without motovation, we can not grow. If Ron Paul wins, he cant magically pass bills or thrown down with congress, with the checks and balances we have, Congress is king and the other two branches are weak. There is not one simple answer to America’s problems, and one person cannot fix it. Socialism is a novel concept in a perfect world, but impossible in the real world. Good luck coming to terms, but I doubt you’ll change your views.

The dude above doesn’t know what Socialism is. Perhaps you ought to go check out northern Europe to see how well Socialism doesn’t work. Ron Paul IS pro big business there’s no doubt about that and it makes me laugh that people think because he says essentially that corporations and government shouldn’t influence each other that he’s anti corporations. Read between the lines dipshits. He wants no regulation of corporations and that translates into: pollute as much as ya want; minimum wage? fuck that!; we don’t think a 40 hr work week is enough, we think 60 is more like it; paid sick leave? fuck it; paid vacation? fuck that too; safe working conditions? you’re fucking crazy, that cut’s into our bottom line too much . . . You really want a country where some states (ahem the south) decide how they want to be composed, eh racially? you think it’s a good idea that private business aren’t required by law to serve the disabled or nonwhites? Ron Paul says entitlements aren’t a right but (get that old codger a dictionary) entitlements ARE rights because an entitlement is a right designated by law. But being the genius he is . . . well we all know he meant ‘natural right.’ Yawn.

So youre blaming Obama for not solving the recession, reforming the nation, and youre ignoring the fact that GOP filibusters prevent him from getting through his tax reform, his public option healthcare, and other things…. you also ignore the fact that Ron Paul would eviscerate welfare spending, sending a couple ten million Americans into the soup kitchens, or into hell. Ron Paul is a moron who sounds intelligent, but other than that, he’s just gonna rob gov’t, and the people, of any power at all to reform the capitalist system. Ron Paul always blames government. Hurricane Katrina and all the deaths after it, were probably governmen’ts fault, right? And global warming can’t be solved with government, right? Only capitalism and capitalists working OUT OF THE GOODNESS OF THEIR HEARTS can do that. Look, yes, its a shame Obama is pretty ineffective. That does NOT mean Ron Paul would do anything… literally. Laissez faire means govt does nothing. No schools. No welfare. Nothing.

It’s not one man. Or woman who runs the show, it’s a confluence of a very wealthy group of individuals who do. The have the capital and influence to employ the one’s who truly run the show, namely, lobbyists. Look at what Grover Norquist has done to this country. And is there any viable counter to his greed filled ideology? I think not. We have Occupy Wall St., some argue, but the OWS movement lacks one thing that any movement need and unfortunately that’s positive mass mainstream exposure. Most of the reports about the movement portray it in a negative or childish light. Meanwhile, the top 1% continue to build a theocratic plutocracy so they can justify their greed to the masses by saying its “God’s Will”. Yeah, we’re certainly fucked and the sad thing is enough of us either don’t give two shits or we continue to swallow the poisonous lies hefted upon us day in and day out…..
