There are plenty of crummy jobs out there — there is always employers who will exploit to the point of making their jobs no job at all. It is already echoing in my ears, “If I needed a job, I would do anything at all.” This is a popular idea but only in the theoretical. Rarely, does anybody saying this actually have a really crummy job.
The Wall Street Journal — formerly a decent newspaper but now the Murdoch-owned, Fox News equivalent, Republican party in print — is dismayed with so many jobs available why people are not working. Exactly what are these jobs? First of all, any job that does not provide a living wage — including all necessary benefits — is no job at all. Call it a job, if you want, but exactly what is the point of working hard and not being able to support yourself. People could reasonably consider crime as a better alternative — if caught, they would end up in prison with food, housing, and health care. Again, if crime is any kind of alternative with the risk of jail, it must be a truly crummy job.
The country is in a crisis. Millions of people have exhausted their unemployment benefits. Prostitution is on the rise, as is human trafficking. People are desperate. Yet, this fails to cause Congress to make it illegal for corporations to send jobs overseas or even to pay taxes. Little is made in America anymore. Yesterday, there was a mini riot in Georgia as people tried to get subsidized housing. There were thousands of people who needed it and just a few hundred offerings. Good old red state Georgia can’t supply enough housing or jobs for the citizens but Republicans nuts claim they have the answer in corrupt capitalism.
Robert Reich points out that the biggest employer is the US military. There are millions of people employed as soliders and within the military industrial complex. You can be a solider if you are healthy, heterosexual, and willing to risk your life for some stupid wars across the globe. Perhaps, young men can put that on their resume, “Willing to die. Fuck women. Love to kill”. That would make any employer smile with delight. However, not all soliders are happy with their decisions as AWOLs are up over 200%.
So, let’s review. If you are unemployed, you can be a prostitute. A solider. A criminal. Or take a low paying, no benefit job — see the Wall Street Journal. Welcome to today’s America.

I don’t know what Armando charges, but I informed her that this legal citizen now charges 55 to 75 bucks/hour for computer work. Enjory your $20 savings from your illegal. Nothing like instant gratification.

A great example of the misunderstanding of DumbaKrap Libs occurred when my anthracite black girlfriend came out today to collect her JoJa Blue Crabs. I told her about the incident with the left wing wingnut.
She said (actually said this), “I can’t blame her for taking the lowers price”. HeeHeeHee. I told her (since she works part time for me) that if I fire her and hire Jaunita, the housekeeper, that she shouldn’t blame me. Hope you don’t have a problem with that.
She also works for a contractor who cleans hotel and motel rooms. She is a housekeeper. I told her that Jaunita works so well, at such a low wage that I’m going to recommend her (along with all of her relatives from South of the Border) to replace you. I hope you don’t “blame” him just like you don’t blame me for shitcanning (ass launching) you out the door. Do we care about your 13 year old daughter? Hell no!! Do we care about your puny mortgage? Hell no!! do we care if you rot in a sewer? Hell no!! Do we care that you worked for us for over 10 years and provided us with good service? Hell no. So don’t blame either of us if we hire Armando and Jaunita. Screw you!!
