Nevada is the mecca of economic misery — unemployment, foreclosures, and pain. It is also the mecca of Tea Party crazy — with Sharron Angle. Although Angle will likely lose, the fact she was nominated by the Republicans is a sign that even with capitalism’s stunning disaster, people think less government is the answer. Nevada has always been the best place for American Libertarianism with lots of firsts — no state taxes, gambling legal, prostitution legal, poor city planning, etc. There is nothing too dirty or too risky for Nevada — nuclear test sites, storage of nuclear waste, etc. If one was a Libertarian, it represents about the best place in America to do as you want.
Health care has been so bad in Nevada there has been a doctor’s shortage for decades with some of the worse health care outcomes anywhere. Nevada has some of the poorest schools in the nation. Yet, casinos have raked in $BILLIONS and $BILLIONS over the decades as they appeal to the worst in humanity — greed, sex, and debauchery — “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.”
There are so many homes owned by banks in Nevada, that there are no real estate signs on property. With so much for sale, a simple note of the door, indicates the property is bank owned. Neighborhoods are deserted with, perhaps, one sole homeowner remaining. It is a modern day ghost town. Nevada previous gambling exclusive has been usurped by state after state throughout the nation. There is fewer reasons to travel to Las Vegas when people can lose their money closer to home.
Yet, with the unrestricted capitalism, Nevada is on a death spiral. This is an omen of what will happen throughout the country. But with so few rules, what prevents Nevada from being able to birth one successful industry after another? Companies pay little in taxes — perhaps the lowest corporate tax rates anywhere. Doesn’t less taxes produce jobs? — Republicans have been claiming this for decades. Nevada has less taxes — much less taxes than more successful states. Yet, Nevada is on a death spiral.
Reducing taxes and allowing the wealthy to not participate in society by hording their money, results in destruction. Really successful countries throughout the world, have learned to successfully redistribute wealth, e.g. Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, etc. Even Western European countries, like France and Germany, are doing much better at redistribution and providing a better situation for all the people than the United States. Nevada portends what is in store for America as the tax less crowd continues to convince people that less taxes will provide jobs. It didn’t work in Nevada, it hasn’t worked in America, and it won’t work in the future.
President Obama has helped Republicans. He is a capitalist — a corporatist. Yet, Republicans will claim he is a socialist. As a result, Republicans hate him and progressives hate him as well. He has failed — totally. He is the reason that Republicans will win. Progressives don’t want another four years of Obama with his wars and inability to pass a progressive agenda. It would have been better if Obama spoke the progressive agenda without passing any legislation, than to pass one piece of crap legislation after another that accomplishes little. Health care and financial reform will do little to address the real problems. Meanwhile, Obama loves the Afghanistan war. Obama has managed to upset just about everybody — he’s a loser.

I saw the numbers the other day, and TV advertising is now over their heads. I’ve been to Nevada 3 or 4 times, not just to Lost Vegan. I have driven through it’s wastelands. When you live in a barren furnace, liquour, pussy, drugs, whatever are the only economy going. In the northern part of the State, you can become a Mormon and fuck lots of homely, ugly women and make alot of retarded babies, who you can fuck again when they reach the age of consent, like 4 or 5.
Taxes? Hell NO!! I screwed gals in Rio, Amsterdam, Knew Yokes, JoJa, Texass, etc.. and none of them cared about collecting taxes. Why sould Nudevada be any different?
