It is a common theme.  Take a crazy political candidate like Sharron Angle from Nevada — a person with no moral scruples that prevents lying.  Add to this, a woman who believes all sorts of crazy crap.  For example: She wants to abolish most of the Federal government, including the IRA, Department of Education, Department of Energy, etc. etc.   She is a Birther, believing Obama was born outside the US.  Angle believe the unemployed are just lazy and love collecting unemployment benefits.  Angle wants to ban alcohol.  Not only is she against abortion but even in the case of rape and life of the mother.  What you have left is a crazy chapter in American politics.  Worse yet — she is ahead in the polls and could win.

Harry Reid is republishing Sharron Angle web site that was taken down once she got the Republican nomination.    Appropriately, Reid calls it  The Real Sharron Angle.  It would be impossible for me to even summarize how wacko she is –  basically, Angle is a nut job.  No surprise, Angle is all upset that her words from just a month ago are being republished by her opponent.   She is a basic Tea Party type — she is endorsed by Sarah Palin.  But now Angle is trying to walk back from all the wackos crap she spouted for years and right up until she was nominated.  When interviewed on Keith Obermann’s show, she falls apart –

Angle’s election in Nevada, and Paul’s election in Kentucky are the litmus test for 2010.
