One thing that is clear about Republicans — they hate everybody except white, christians (no capital C for me).

Yet, the ruckus in Arizona is causing pause for some of the higher ranking Republicans who know that you cannot alienate Latinos and, by implication,  other minorities and expect to win many elections.  Good old Jeb Bush — the 2016 Republican nominee — and former governor of Florida has already criticized the Arizona law, as did Karl Rove.    But their criticism is purely political and the reason that even George W Bush wanted to pass immigration reform.

Just after Arizona passed the vote, Rasmussen came out with a poll that said that 70% of the voters supported it — but this is a blatant lie.  Rasmussen frequently lies about such things as they are in bed with conservatives, Fox News, and want to influence public opinion — AD has dealt with this topic before. It is interesting to see other states doubling down on the racist immigration law of Arizona.  States like Texas, Utah, Georgia, and others want to pass similar laws.   The Republican governor in Alabama is running on an ‘English Only’ platform, maintaining it will keep those immigrates out of the state.  Republicans keeping this up might just help Obama avoid a big defeat in November.

What is always shocking to me about the anti-immigration stance is that the ONLY reason there is so many undocumented workers in America is because they are CHEAP labor to rich people.   The Republicans always want to attack the people instead of attacking the companies that hire them.  The problem would end overnight if laws were passed to put employers in jail for hiring illegal immigrates.   But, it is better for the Republicans to wage a war of hate against the poor people willing to work for little than the rich people who exploit the poor.  Republicans know that laws like Arizona will do little to solve the problem.  The borders are deliberately open so that poor people can come to America and take low wage jobs.

Republicans continue to bury themselves in a deep well of white christians only.  This approach has worked for them for a long time but they are clearly not smart enough to realize demographics have changed and will continue to change.  In less than a decade the minorities in Arizona will be the majority in the state.  Laws like Arizona passed will turn Arizona into a blue state much faster than the Republicans who voted for this bill realize.

I think it’s funny all the poor trash that are voting with us. They used to vote with the democrats but I guess since Obama is in office they want to come our way. The tea party is funny they are the rednecks that we don’t want people to see us around with. They don’t have the money, class or common sense to see what is really going on. The tea party are all trash but as long as they are voting with us it is fine and good. ;)
