Today’s Health Care Summit was a waste of time for actually getting something done.  As America looked around the room at a mostly OLD WHITE MALE crowd, it was clear these people could not solve any problem.  Republicans — it was only about money — it is always about money.  Not ONE Republican declared that health care was a crisis in America — not ONE Republican declared that EVERYBODY should have health care — not ONE Republican gave a shit about America.   Yet, everybody at that table had health care.

Let’s eliminate the health care for the entire federal government until all Americans have coverage.

The only thing America learned was just how utterly doomed the country is the people at Blair House today.  What a bunch of self-serving, egotistical buffoons.   This group represents the problem in America — not just for health care either.  These people could not solve any significant problem — let that sink in — they couldn’t solve any significant problem.  That is the definition of a DOOMED America — a dysfunctional government unable to solve any problem.

Also — there was no mention of a SINGLE PAYER system which is greatly supported by ordinary citizens.  They did mention a couple of mostly government programs: Medicare and Medicad.  Medicare for seniors and Medicad for the poor.  As Obama pointed out the really poor have health insurance — it isn’t the greatest — but it is much better than the NO health insurance that the 30-46 million people that are not poor and not senior have.

Nobody suggested that we allow EVERYBODY to join Medicare or Medicad.  It would in a single sentence provide coverage for everybody.  Everybody.  Again, not the best coverage but coverage nonetheless.  With all the education, experience and power in the Blair house, not ONE person said open up existing government run health insurance to everybody.

As I watched the coverage of TV, I wanted everybody in that room to get cancer without any health care.  I wanted everybody they cared about to die agonizing deaths without health insurance.   I wanted them all to go to hell.  What a sad state for America with buffoons like this running the government.

Today, Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut — closet Republican — who won’t be seeking reelection because he know he will lose, introduces a constitutional amendment to overturn the Supreme Court ruling on Citizens United.   This is both ridiculous and insincere.

There is NO WAY Dodd can get such an amendment through the Senate — it requires 67 votes — and NO Republican will vote for it.  I doubt it Dodd would even vote for it.  Why?  Because good old corporatist Dodd likes the filibuster rule.  He likes the fact that the Senate hasn’t passed any major social legislation in his ENTIRE career.   He is a corporatist and loves putting their money in his pocket while being a faux populist from time to time.  Dodd enjoys the headlines — populism with no substance, like in this present case.

Senator Dodd thinks America is STUPID, just like many of his colleagues in the Senate.  No.  NO.  They will never say that.  In fact, they will say the opposite but if you look at their actions, it is clear their true thoughts.  Dodd knows that a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United will NEVER happen.  NEVER.  EVER.   It will never get out of the SENATE.  And even if you want to make the assumption that it miraculously passes, it will never get 2/3 rds of the states to ratify.  Two thirds of the states NEVER ratified the Equal Protection women.   Really — the Senate and Dodd is one been Joke!  What chance is there to overturnibg corporations owning elections?  ZIPPO.

As long as the IDIOT FIVE remain on the Supreme Court look for lots of other civil rights erosions and corporate privileging to continue — Roberts, Thomas, Scalia, Alito, and Kennedy — all right wing ideologues who are doing their best to destroy America.  They should all be proud.

I apologize for voting for President Obama — it was a mistake — a huge mistake — one I won’t be making again.  Obama has no courage of his convictions.  He runs around scared — scared of the corporatists — scared of terrorists — scared of everything, it seems.  He is even scared of shutting down Gitmo or getting out of Iraq or Afghanistan.  He doesn’t even realize to lead he has to have conviction and … well … lead.  Instead, he gives speeches and expects everybody to do the right thing.  America doesn’t work that way and never has.  Great Presidents ALWAYS have convictions — strong convictions.  In this sense — George W was a much greater president than timid Obama — afraid of his own shadow.

Obama’s Presidency is an American Tragedy of major proportion.  He was the last bit of hope to stop the destruction of America.  And by playing it safe — nauseously safe — he will be viewed with disdain by all sides and by history.  Republicans never liked him and yet he still tries to placate and appease them.  Democrats are disgusted because Obama is not doing what he said he would do.  Independents are done with Obama — like me.  He is a loser times three and, because he is unwilling to fight for what he claimed to believe in — America is the greatest loser of all.

Obama surrounds himself with crooks and idiots.  Treasury Secretary Geithner is a crook — he is as bad as Paulson.  The secret deals surrounding the bailout and AIG are criminal.  Ditto — for Bernanke — won’t even say where $2TRILLION went!  Yet, Obama supports both of these guys.  Rahm Emmanuel is an idiot.  Likewise for Gibbs.   Seriously, can’t Obama see that he has surrounded himself with idiots.  If not, then Obama is the greatest idiot of them all. Have you listened to a press conference from Gibbs — he is utterly inept in this job.  Emmanuel is a crazy person that is apparently telling Obama he can’t get the votes on anything.  Gee — Emmanuel was suppose to be a great strategist and supreme vote getter. What a disappointment.

Tomorrow begins the stupid health care summit with no public option and advocating for a Senate Bill that America doesn’t want.  The Republican makes this claim and are right.  I want health care reform more than anybody and don’t want any part of the Senate bill.  I want MEDICARE FOR ALL as the public option and leave the present system pretty much as it is.   This has been the only rational solution since the beginning but Obama and the democrats gave up on the public option immediately.   They are either idiots or just bought off by corporate interests.  Either way –

America is doomed.

Outrageous to consider having a Genocide Party but I contend we have two: Democrats and Republicans.  Let me explain.  The two parties are systematically out to destroy a significant percentage of our population.   It would be easier to understand if they loaded the selected onto train cars and sent them to the gas chambers.  But — this is America — the land of the righteous indignation — the land of image versus reality.

The basic premise of the Genocide Party is to adopt policies that expose and eliminate the unwanted.   Then, load them on the virtual trains and send them to the gas chambers.  There is no place in this America for the weak.  The Genocide Party believes in god and want to return the unwanted to god as soon as possible.  In this regard, these  are the basic tenets:

1. The poor need to be eliminated.  They are clearly worth nothing — they are poor which is not allowed in today’s America.
2. The  sick need to be eliminated.  This will be done with poor health care, and America has the poorest health care for ordinary citizens in the world — the Genocide Party is very proud of this.
3. The elderly need to be eliminated.  This will be done with making it impossible for them to survive as they get older, e.g. social security poverty wages.
4. People in debt — easily expose by requiring a credit report to get a job, buy insurance, move into an apartment, and go to school.  Practically an entire generation of people coming out of college are so much in debt they will never get out — they need to go.  And, the Genocide Party needs to make it more difficult to get those loans in the future.
5. Disabled — they are clearly defects.  The Genocide Party loves parading them about for their own purposes but they are just weak and must die.
6. Criminals — it’s expensive to keep building more prison space but this is just a staging area for the next train.  If they ever get out they won’t be able to get a job.  They will be back in prison.  The food is poor.  The health care is poor.  Maybe one prisoner will kill another.
7. Unemployed — just because you were part of the Genocide Party for a long time, you are no longer wanted when you are unemployed.  You need to go.
8. Minorities — So sad our God didn’t give you the skin of Jesus — you are clearly defective, you need to get on the train.

No — America isn’t honest — they don’t just tell people that are not wanted — instead, they pass laws and policies which accomplish the same goal.

America is doomed.

I enjoyed watching the video below and largely agreed with it.  It is 18 minutes long but well worth a viewing if you are wondering what happened to your freedom.  Phillip K. Howard quickly goes through the legal landmines in the country and how why the country is in gridlock.  I don’t think the country is just in gridlock as Howard concludes, I think it is owed by corporate interests who control the law.  In any case, Howard makes many interesting points and the one point I think is particularly interesting is how humanity has to return to the law. Citizens need to think that if they act reasonably there will be somebody that will understand and Phillips points out there is NOBODY in the current legal system fulfilling this role.  Imagine, if doesn’t matter if you act reasonably in America — the law is all that matters and nobody even understands all the law they are subjected to, another point Howard makes.

Howard points out that we got into this mess because of the abuse of the privileged.  America passed laws to combat abuses — civil rights abuse, women issues, etc. etc.  We wanted to make it illegal to act inhumanely but this came at a great cost.

Sadly, the things that Phillips is proposing are impossible to achieve.  America cannot even achieve basic sensibility when millions suffer, e.g. health care.  What chance can there be to radically change the legal system?  In fact, the US Supreme Court is so paritsan with one awful politically-motivated decision after another — from the 5 right wing ideologues.   So, there will be no changing the legal system in America.  Let’s just add it to the list of why America is impoding right before our eyes.
