Have you been reading all the non-sense about the House narrowly passing a Health Care Bill? Well, Hurrah! Big Fucking Deal!
After months of debate, it comes down to a narrow victory for a lame bill. The provisions of much of this bill will not go into effect for years. It certainly does something but it remains to be seen whether this ‘something’ will be good for anybody but the greedy insurance and medical establishment. I will tell you right now, it will not be good for ordinary citizens or America. It is just one more nail in the coffin that America is just a shit-hole of a place to live in 2009.
Then, of course, you have the House of Lords — also known as the US Senate. There, you have assholes like Lieberman who says he will block any potential vote on Health Care, even though 80% of his electorates favor reform. Honestly, with people like Lieberman — a greedy, phony independent son of a bitch — who claims to be aligned with the Democrats, there is no hope for this country. This man is an idiot and the fact that the citizens of Connecticut can’t seem to elect somebody better is a testimony to the demise of America.
Plus, you have one Republican Senator after another declaring that the House bill has no chance in the Senate. This I actually agree with this point of view. The deck has always been stacked against Health Care reform. Big money and greed always wins in America. This is the land of “I’ve Got Mine, Fuck Everybody Else” and nobody understands this game better than the assholes who call themselves Republicans.
Meanwhile, you have lame duck President Obama declaring victory — what a fantasy world he lives in. I don’t know what papers he reads but this is hardly a victory. Perhaps, it is a victory in the realization that America just doesn’t work any more. Perhaps, this shows that it is impossible to even solve critical problems. I mean problems that unsolved will kill people, every day and in every state. You would think a problem of that magnitude would actually get some genuine problem solving — but — oh no — not in 2009 America. No, no — greed is the only thing that wins in America.
I use to love America but I hate this god damn place more every day. That’s right — FUCK AMERICA and every god damn greedy bastard that says that it is the greatest place on earth.

America doomed!! I agree with you once again. This health care “reform” is a complete joke, butt I’m not laughing. This is the classic definition of “pulling wool over their eyes”. This is nothing more than a gift to the allopathic, toxic quacks who call themselves doctors, and to their coconspirators in the Big Pharma and insurance industry. There is no reform!!! There is only a continuation and an exageration and a fucking expansion of this crapola system of disease management. No help is coming. Only catastrophe and rationed care!!! Big Pharma and the medical mafia will have their way, and their money!!! I avoid them. I have learned to live holistically and I’m way better off for it. All I need now is a nice place in the tropics where I can eat snow peas, sweet corn, carrots, beets, and tomatoes in January. Fuck them and their vaccination poison!!! Their injected mercury, aluminum, squalene, monkey kidney, Simian 40 virus and god only knows what else. All they ever needed to do, if they wanted to maintain the Western paradigm for allopathic quack medicine, was extent Medicare to everyone. It IS single payer. No new bureauacracy would have been created. Doctors will accept that level of reimbursement even though they cry about it all of the time. All employees in the doctor’s office (quack office) know how to fill out the forms and the doctors know what they are getting paid. Prices could have been controlled. The same holds true for hospitals. It wouldn’t have been perfect, but it would have frozen prices while other options were considered. It would have bought time. Time is precious when you are on a sinking boat.
Lieberman? An asshole? Englghten me more, please!!! He was an asshole when he was a DumbaKrap. He was and asshole when he claims to be a Repukikan. I guess you hit the nail on the head. He’s just an asshole. I call him “Jimminy Cricket”. He looks like him. Everytime I look at his face and hear his whining voice I just expect him to break out in a verse of “When you wish upon a star”. Unfortunately, it would probably be “When you wish upon a nuke.” He’s Jewish and all that matters to him is that little strip of wasteland calle Israel. ‘Nuff said about him. He’s a switch hitter.
I really don’t much like America anymore either. But I don’t see any relief from our difficulties. In fact, I just see a bigger cesspool and quagmire forming. I watch this on the internet and stay isolated. I haven’t had a television for 17 years now and don’t really miss it. I work in my garden, greenhouse, or worm farms until dark everyday. At night I dream of pretty brown girls in the tropics and tomatoes in January.
