Boycott Whole Foods — CEO Mackey Needs To Go

On August 28, 2009, in doomed, by admin

Whole Foods’ CEO Mackey demonstrated how out of touch he is with his consumers when he voiced his opinion that health care is not a right to all Americans.  It’s a free country and Mackey can believe any crazy, stupid, greedy thing he wants — but I don’t have to shop at his stores.  A national boycott has been called by all people who object to Mackey’s heartless, greedy, and uninformed opinions.

I sent email to Whole Foods regarding Mackey and received an apology; however, I had requested that Mackey be fired.  Thus, as a long time shopper at Whole Foods, I will no longer shop there as long as CEO Mackey remains employed with Whole Foods.

This is the second time I have been greatly disappointed with Mackey and Whole Foods — the first time was over the merger of Wild Oaks when Whole Foods bought out a competitor.  Whole Foods acts more like the greedy people at Wal-Mart than as a sustainable food distribution company.

Now that Mackey has made his views known, it is easier to understand why Whole Foods has left their traditional sustainable food model for the greed mantra of American capitalism.  Whole Foods is, indeed, part of the problem with food in America.

America is doomed

A few musings from JoJa Boy. First, I’ll take issue with the statement that America is a “free country”. Not so. Need I eloborate. Really, nearly every aspect of your life is regulated by stupid or “ignunt” people who work for “Da Gubsamunts”. Total retards. Yes, it is semi-free. You can drive without a seatbelt but not without paying a penalty. You can voice a racist opinion on the internet, but not without being “discontinued” by your server. You can even urinate in public, but not without a few days in jail (except for Detroilet or Filthadelphia, where it is a commonplace, acceptable practice). But you do have the right to disagree with the CEO of Whole Foods. You are free in that respect, for now. I have to agree with Mr. CEO that health care is not a right of all Americans, at least not yet. And I no longer see it materializing in the near future. We are now at internal (civil) war in this nation. The hate and killing will only intensify between the “haves” and the “have nots”. Health care would be a great placator. Mackey is only your typical Wall Street Dupe. He’s a “quarterly earnings ass”. What can I say. He doesn’t want his sacred profits hurt, nor the price of his stock. I have completely different problems with whole foods. They sell Junk, as either the CEO or one of his henchmen recently stated. They also sell great products. But they really sell junk. They never were a model of “sustainable” anything, including stock value. They import food from Chile, Australia, New Zealand, Guatamala, Brazil, Mexico, and the list goes on. Organic or not, transporting food from New Zealand “Ain’t” organinc, no way, no how. Whatever you gained by growing it organically, you lost with transoceanic transportation, refigeration, CO2 cold storage, local transport etc… And those 3rd world countries are good at using Chlordane, DDT, etc.. and still claiming that it is organic. No rules, no regs, no ispection, just junk!!! And their prepared foods!!!! Go to Mickey D’s. You’re getting the same thing, just dressed up to look better. If you want good organic food, grow your own or buy it locally from a farmer who you trust. just don’t buy any from the “white House” garden. Too high in lead, thanks to all of the “sustainable” sewage sludge that Hitlary and her Oaf Husband, “da Ly’in King” Bubba Bob Clintstone and the Global Warmingist, Algoon dumped on the yard. Life, truth, and reality are a bitch. Take care of yourself and your loved ones my friend. Gubsamunts, like Quack Allopathic doctors, are a “very last” resort.
