Business Week ran an article with a graph that shows how capitalism has failed, particularly in the last decade — during a pro-capitalist Republican administration. For example, in the last 10 years private sector employment rose by 1.1% even with monster growth in overall population and massive illegal immigration. The public sector (government) created over twice as many jobs as the private sector, and as the article points out that is way too generous to the private sector.
This article is from Business Week — a right wing oracle of capitalism. It is not from Workers Unite or some Socialist paper. Make no mistake capitalism has failed. America better wake up and realize it.
America is definitely in a DEPRESSION and just today Warren Buffet said that the country economy is still in very bad shape. He even said another stimulus package would be necessary. That’s the least of the problems.
America Doomed has explained many times it is about JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. There are no jobs and technology is destroying jobs. The only solution is to collect up all the resources and divide it up among the population — SOCIALISM. I don’t care if you like the word or not. The only hope for America is to redistribute the wealth. Transform all essential services into non-profits. Eliminate most of the for profit companies in America. There is no other choice and the longer it takes the worse it is going to get.

Hi…We communicated via email awhile ago and what the BusinessWeek article discussed is what I have been saying for years now. I even wrote an article on associatedcontent called modern society threatens the American dream that showed how downright abysmal job creation has been since the 2001 recession(which never really ended). Here I am an ex programmer who can no longer get hired despite a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and years of programming experience but of course my problem is , according to the media pundits(eyeroll), is that I need retooling and more education(eyeroll). The question then becomes, of course, is if more people enter the workforce then there are available jobs how does further education or training fix the problem? for example, if there are 50,000 jobs and 200,000 people to fill them- 150,000 people are still going to be left behind no matter if they all have super duper phds. Rather than blame the problem on individuals which is the standard practice of our current free market society it is time way padt time that we start to question the system that is in place. I’m not 100% sold on socialism but our current free market system is certainly proving to be a deadly folly.
By the way it is instructive to note that every year there needs to be an increase of at least 1% in the number of actual jobs available just to keep up with population growth. So, since 2000 the US would have needed to increase the number of jobs by at least 10% but instead the increase has been just over 1%. Pathetic and a recipe for disaster.

America is Doomed. We will never institute socialism wihtout extreme violence. There is simply too much money involved in protecting the filthy rich monopolies that control everything in this country. Your ideas are great but not applicable. If anyone tries to do what you say, they will be looking down a gun barrell and a long prison sentance. We are now under control by corporate fascists. It is time to quit wishing for reform through normal chanells. Only violent overthrow will work, and obese, farting, diabetic, cancerous Americans are not in the shape that would be required to take on a “lean killing machine”. It is time to entrench yourself to protect yourself. Personally, I produce all of my own food,()organic), have an solar water still, have huge amounts of “stores” i.e. MRE’s, Gasoline, htousands of rounds of ammunition and the means to deliver ordinance, solar water pumps, generator, you name it, I have it. Prepare to protect your family and loved ones. It is not selfish to save yourelf and screw the sheeple who listened to their shit. Stay safe, my friend.
