Since my original post that Abortion is Not Murder, based strictly on what the bible says, there has not been one refutation of same.  Religious people decide on what they think the answer is suppose to be and do not examine the text.

It is ironic after all of these years putting up with crazy bible readers that abortion is bad to realize that the bible defines life as when a person breathes his first breathe.  It has nothing to do with conception.  This fact should actually make bible readers happy because they don’t have to deal with the resurrection dilemma.  That is, if “live” begins at conception then frozen fertilized embryos are living people and are resurrected months or even years later when implanted.  This is like a show stopper argument against Jesus being the only resurrection.  Those frozen embryos are “dead” for a lot longer than fake Jesus was.

Some commenter told me to look up the picture of aborted fetuses on the internet.  I have seen them and they are horrible pictures — pictures that the religious people love to post, by the way.   But, as usual, the religious zealots miss the may point.

Nobody is saying that abortion is good — nobody.  It is sometimes horrible to undergo medical procedures.   Have you ever looked at pictures of cancer patients or others who undergo horrible medical procedures?  How about an amputation?  Transplant?

The pro-choice community is saying that each woman needs to be able to make a choice.  This choice is not much different than choices that Americans get to make every day.  For example, Americans get to choose what religion they will follow, or none at all.   The same religious people who argue that they have every right to choose their religion want to deny a woman the right to decide about their own bodies.  Plus, make no mistake:  Even if abortion was illegal in America there would still be abortions.  There have always been abortions and there always will be.
