Palin embarrasses me because she has a second rate education, not very smart, flaunts her ass instead of her policies, not qualified to be President, does a disservice to women, believes crazy religious things, and makes America look like a redneck, hillbilly, second rate country.

Further, Republicans use to have a point of view, but there are no true conservatives left in the party.  Conservatives like William F. Buckley who truly believed in small government and fiscal responsibility are gone.   Reagan was not a real conservative — he increased the NATIONAL DEBT by over $2 TRILLION — Reagan believed in lower taxes without curtailing spending.

Reagan changed the republicans to social religious wackos and Palin is one of those.  This new type of republican continues to exploit the intellectually challenged religious wackos in the country.   This is now the party of Jerry Falwell and Pat Roberson and James Dobson — people who have said some of the most revolting things of our time — 911 and AIDS are god’s punishment, god is judging America because of abortion, etc.

The closest thing to real conservatives today are Libertarians who believe the republicans have lost their way as well and don’t think much of McCain or Palin.  However, like Nader on the left, Libertarians have little chance in being elected.

No matter who is elected America needs to get back to fiscal conservatism.  Have as many social programs as you want — and America needs lots of them because so many people have been left behind — just pay for them as you go.  The craziness of deficit spending has to stop.

Even though Obama is ahead nationally by 6-9%, he is behind by 35% among Southern Whites.  This may be the saddest part of the election.   Racism, among Southern Whites, is the only explanation.

Equally disturbing among the Southern Whites is what they will dismiss in order to privilege their racism. Forget about lower taxes for 95% of the people, improved health care, better education, and more populist policies.  Instead, Southern Whites declare that they cannot vote for a black man, no matter how smart and educated he is, no matter that his mother was white.  Instead, the one drop of black blood rules in the South.

It is also interesting that the South is the most religious part of the country — Southern Baptists are the biggest Protestant denomination.  No wonder that the Southern Baptists were founded because of their pro-slavery views.  The hypocrisy is nauseating.

Well, it turns out that at the same time that Palin is complaining that Obama is a socialist, Sister Sarah has a little under reported secret of her own.   Ms. “I’m lying when my mouth moves” Sarah actually makes cousin Karl proud with her “Share in the Wealth” plan that takes money from Big Oil and gives it to the “free enterprise” bright red state people of Alaska.  Flash — as of this writing, there are no reports that Alaskans are returning any of the money in order to save Todd’s “country” from Socialism.

It still surprises me that gifted Palin can look straight into the camera and lie about just everything.   For example, it would be nice for Palin to point out that her little program in Alaska is a “redistribution of wealth” program which makes her a socialist also. Her kind of socialism involves designer clothes as well.  Maybe, she could even shelve the righteous indignation about Obama.  No — that won’t work — it would be far too much to expect Ms. “born again” to be honest — Palin even removed one of those nasty Ten Commandments to keep the books balanced.  Further, Palin’s Jesus really appreciates his little bitch lying her pretty tail off.

America is doomed.

The republicans are so much fun.  They think that America will be scared off by Obama’s “redistributive change” comment from the 2001 interview when he was a law professor.  Obama is not really talking about “redistribution of wealth” in the interview.  He is talking about a failure of the Civil Rights Movement relying too heavily on the Supreme Court to address wrongs for an oppressed people. Nonetheless, republicans need to keep mischaracterizing the interview which their base will love, but it won’t phase the rest of America.  There are just too many people that have been disenfranchised in America and, they are all ready for a little redistribution of wealth.  And, keep with the socialism label as well.  It’s doesn’t scare the majority either.  What scares the majority is more republican rule.

The republicans will keep trying to divide people because the experiment into unregulated free enterprise was a disaster.

Maria Bartiromo was spewing the republican talking points today.  She is interpreting that Obama’s 2001 interview was a statement about redistribution of wealth.  The interview was Obama’s view that the Civil Rights Movement relied too heavily on the Supreme Court for redistributive power — he was a law professor — nothing to do with wealth at all. Yet, Bartiromo, Drudge Report, Larry Kudlow, etc. are all interpreting the interview is about redistributing wealth.  These people are just manipulative republican idiots.

It is no wonder that Bartiromo will be interviewing McCain and Palin — these interviews are handled out to people like Bartiromo who will ask nothing but softball questions.
