It took Fannie and Freddie for asshole Cox at the SEC to tell everybody that naked short selling is bad.  This has been a problem for many years and the naked short selling rules have crushed one company after another.  Basically, naked shorting allows for the selling of a stock without ever borrowing the underlying securities.  In practice, this allows for any buying in a stock to be offset by a literally unlimited amount of selling.  You can even short a stock to zero and never cover it.  Believe it or not, people engaged in this process do not ever cover their shorts in order to avoid taxes — if you don’t cover then you are still short and if you are still short you don’t have any gains.  Hard to believe?

Well … in fucking greedy America nothing is hard to believe when it comes to money.

But now Freddie and Fannie have to be bailed out but they have to tighten the naked short rules for these stocks or they are going to zero no matter what the government does.

There are other issues with shorting, like the up tick rule, that was eliminated about a year ago.  Now they want to revert back and require a stock to up tick before it can be shorted.   Others are now complaining about the penny ticks and want nickle instead.   Blah, Blah, Blah …

Meanwhile, there are some serious problems at Fannie and Freddie because of the greedy bastards who bought all those subprime mortgages.  People made BILLIONS on those asinine products.  You might be surprised that the CEOs of the fucked up entities made millions in salaries and bonuses and many of those companies are failing.   The last Fannie CEO left with $14m.  Countywide CEO left with $16m after running the company off a clif.  Etc. Etc.

Naked shorting has destroyed companies and I suspect the rules will never get changed for the entire market or if they do there will be some fucking loophole around them.  You always have to get way into the details to actually understand the new rules.  Usually, we don’t understand them until greedy interests collide like now with Freddie and Fannie.

McCain has been mentioning Czechoslovakia recently but that country hasn’t been around for 15 years.  McCain wants us to think he is knowledgeable about foreign policy.  Instead, he convinces us he is as dumb as the bag of hammers we have in the White House now.  I still wonder how Bush was ever elected and recall that he actually lost in 2000 until the fucking Supremes gave him the election in the first US coup.

You have to be crazy to  buy a home or make any sacrifice to invest in something like that unless you know you can meet all the obligations you are signing up for.  I mean, if you are depending on your job then will you job continue for the life of the mortgage?  If you are depending on your health will you be able to work for the life of your mortgage?  If you are depending on your spouse will he/she be employed and well enough to continue contributing?  How about some unexpected problem with your children, your parents, or even your friends?  Man-up and have some balls!

Yes, you would be crazy to ever think you could pay off your mortgage.  It doesn’t mater that your father with his bllue collar job was able to raise children and buy and pay off a house.  Times were different then.  Back then, he was able to count on his employer and know that if somebody in his family got sick there could be health care for them — and, it wouldn’t destroy the family.

There are no such guarantees any more …

In fact, if you can’t take care of yourself then in the Russ Limbaugh world you are worthless scum that would be better off dead.

I am not even sure why we have public education.  Let the parents figure out how to pay for the education of their children.  Why should I have to pay for the education of some fucking kid that is not mind.  Let’s start neutering poor people so they can’t have all those children.  No, we don’t have to do that.  Because as a society we don’t have to worry about anybody else.

Also, let’s start sending people to jail if they can’t pay their bills.  So what if they get laid off.  Who cares?  The pussy should have been able to anticipate that was going to happen and at least be a good enough “American” to go out and get another job.  If not, let’s throw his ass in jail.  But, wait, we don’t have anybody there to run it because we are a society that takes care of themselves.  Maybe if somebody owes you money you just shoot the bastard if he can’t pay.   Problem solved and no jails needed — look, we are already saving money.

You get sick or need dental work and can’t afford it.  Then just fuck you.  Go lay down somewhere and die or figure out how to get the money you need to pay your fucking bills.  Maybe go rob that son of bitch next door neighbor you clearly has way more than he needs.  Maybe take your gun and find the dentist at home and give him a choice he can’t refuse.  That will work just great.  Right Limbaugh?

No more free anything — that’s the American we want.  Everybody looking out for themselves and not relying on anybody else for anything.

We don’t need any stinking police because in America we can take fucking care of ourselves.  We all have guns and the Supremes recently said that we should have guns in our homes to defend ourselves.  So, you mess with a good solid American and he will blow your fucking head off because we are self reliant and take care of ourselves.

Forget the Supremes because we have no money to pay them.  And the government.  Forget them.  We don’t need roads.  Because if we need a road we will just build it ourselves because in America we fucking are self reliant and take care of ourselves.

Everybody quite whining — like the teachers advertising on tv that the budget is being cut and thousands will be losing their jobs.  Who gives a shit?  Those students don’t need your fucking help.  How could you help them anyway, you can’t even support yourself without a paycheck handout from the government?   We don’t want the children learning to be like you.  There is no way you have any knowledge that should be imparted to those students.

Get sick and  die.

It is great of live in a country so free that we all get to choose how we are going to die.  But at least we did it our way.

Based on the greed of the last decade or more, there is a meltdown in the financial markets.  The Fed has already been involved with bailouts of Bear Stearns, Indy-Mac, Freddie, Fannie, and likely dozens more if not hundreds.  Washington Mutual is in trouble, along with many other regional banks.  There are still millions of homes at risk in the pipeline and even after all the foreclosures we have already seen.

This is America and Fuck is still a word I can type or think or say.
